The Ups Development Kit is a software tool intended to help the understanding and the development of a
full digitally controlled on-line, single phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies
using the ADMC401 single chip motor controller.
It lets the developer exploit some important UPS control issues with the only aid of the ADMC401 Evaluation Board
and Motion Control Debugger (Mcd).
Following you can find usefull information about applications, technologies
and tools that find home at Bluewind today.
The so called double-conversion (on-line) UPS topology is taken as a
reference to show ADMC401 control capabilities. Most kind of UPS topologies can easily
reuse the software modules contained in the kit. A large set of ADMC401 peripherals is
used, enabling the developer to startup with:
No external hardware is required, except some simple wiring
beween accessible points of the ADMC401 connector board.
The software modules are mostly stand-alone, with a clear input-output interface,
and all related variables are declared within each module. When needed, variables
are declared visible to other modules by using include files technique.
The package covers most of the UPS control and regulation issues:
The current release (rel.1.0) deals with the most important UPS control topics.
Still the software will be updated and enriched with an increasing number of modules
and utilities, to cope with many more control issues.
